Active Status Benefits

As the premiere public health organization at the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Public Health offers members the opportunity to build relationships with other public health-minded members, as well as the chance to network with professors and staff in the Public Health program and the School of Human Ecology. In addition to developing meaningful connections, active status members have the opportunity to run for an officer position, earn a graduation cord, gain free admission to our end-of-year banquet, and, most importantly, gain valuable experience in the public health field!

If you have any issues that make you feel that you cannot meet these requirements but want to be an active member, talk to any of the officers to make special arrangements. There is always something to do, as long as you are committed.
